A little news and notes to get us started.  First, if you were at the Nebraska/Missouri game last night and were paying attention to the video board, you saw me at halftime.  I was wearing my K-State pullover and did Michael Beasley's little hand-sign when I realized I was on camera.

From the other media: Bill Walker gets too emotional sometimes...but here's an interview that makes it sound better...Texas A&M's Donald Sloan's mother died Thursday, BOTC deepest sympathies are with you...Texas A&M's DeAndre Jordan was in the hospital last night, either with a nasty virus or burst appendix...the players like the Sprint Center, especially the big crowds...if you have a lot of time on your hands, the Eagle has the transcript of an hour-long interview it had with Frank Martin...K-State's guards need to step up...
