Tuesday Commentary--Quick Links Dump

Sorry for the brevity.

The KC Star reports the K-State players and coaches are still confused about Saturday's loss to Nebraska.  Good, I'm glad I'm not the only one.  Ron Prince is also taking cues from Mack Brown and trying to be a "purveyor of hope."

Blair Kerkhoff has us 10th in the conference.  Lee Barfknecht has us sixth...in the North.  I wish I could argue with them...

Michael Beasley was named Big 12 player of the week.  Not a bad start.  He was also named national player of the week by ESPN's Weekly Watch.

K-State basketball coach Frank Martin isn't worried about his team's 23.5 turnovers-per-game average thus far.  Umm, OK.

On the volleyball front, K-State libero Angie Lastra was named Big 12 defensive player of the week.  I've done a terrible job of keeping up with the sports not called football and basketball, and I'll try to do a better job in the future.  Currently, the Cats are 12-5, third place in the conference, and rated 12th in the AVCA poll.

Back to (school)work.  Go Cats!
