ROUNDTABLE: Post-Farmageddon Edition

For the second time in two years — and only the second time in 10 years — K-State started Big 12 play 1-0 after yet another Farmageddon win in Kansas City against Iowa State.

Attendance at the game left something to be desired, and that's putting it lightly, but the BOTC crew was there in full force.

Follow the jump for our thoughts about playing future conference games at neutral sites, the potential red juggernaut gaining steam up north and the current state of the Big 12, both on and off the field.

ROUNDTABLE: UCLA-Missouri State Interregnum

In the wake of K-State's biggest season-opening win in almost a decade (as well as one of the most embarrassing losses in KU football history), there's plenty to discuss before Saturday's contest against FCS stalwart Missouri State.

Don't sneer at the Bears, though, even if they are coached by one of the worst coaches in KU football history. After all, they were picked to finish one spot higher than North Dakota State...

Follow the jump for our thoughts on the week that was and the season that will be.

BOTC Focus Group: You Be the Conference Commisioner

A couple of weeks back, I got bored and proposed a roundtable discussion on the Big 12 Conference members and the existing conference alignment.  The BOTC editorial staff promptly chimed in with their thoughts, and I thought the discussion was pretty through provoking.

Since the offseason is a time for theoretical discussions, I thought this would be a fun topic to tackle.  Go ahead and give us your thoughts in the comments section.

Here are the questions:

1. If you could add a school to the conference, who would it be and why?

2. Conversely, if you add one, you have to drop one. Who would it be and why?

3. If you ruled the world, how would you align the Big 12? North/South? East/West? Make two divisions with fun names?
