Brock Monty, a 6'2" 200lb QB/ATH from Wichita, KS's Kapaun Mt. Carmel HS committed to K-State over the weekend. Monty had taken visits to Harvard, Yale, and Iowa State, and had received a preferred walk-on offer from Michigan. Monty threw for over 2,000yds, and rushed for over 500yds during his senior season for the Crusaders, and led his team to the 5A playoffs, where they were upset in the first round.
It is not clear at this time if Monty has a scholarship offer (whether for this season, or next as a greyshirt), or what position he was recruited for at K-State.
