Fandom Friday - the end is near

Yeah, I'm taking over for 00. I don't think she'll mind, and if she does, well, she can remove this and make her own post!

Anyway, I don't know about the rest of you but I've really enjoyed the last few episodes. Random unnecessary boobies notwithstanding, I think the pacing and plot (and lack of torture porn!) has been terrific. I was a little disappointed in the castles in the snow scene (I forgot all about little Robin/Robert screwing everything up), and I'm really looking forward to finding out who Baelish is going to blame. Heck, I'm even looking forward to Brienne and Pod travelling through the Westeros version of Mississippi, since they're actually on the right path. Was this another inadvertent spoiler from what's coming in the books?

My only issue is that, after the brilliance that will be the Mountain versus Viper, then the Brawl at the Wall, and then Tyrion's Revenge, we know what's coming, and none of it is interesting (except for Brienne and Pod). Dany continues to do nothing of interest in Mereen (until she's no longer in Mereen!). The Wall becomes a soap opera. Dorne and the Iron Island's plots are so thick they're going to need lots of sexposition to get anyone to pay attention. I guess Theon and Jaime will have to carry next season.

At the very least, I'm looking forward to finding out!

And a trailer for Sunday's episode (which I won't watch, I prefer only sort-of knowing what's coming) - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FnZOlhOzlyk
