<section class="s-news"><p>The rowing team's 1st Varsity 8 (1V8) earned its second Big 12 Boat of the Week honor (shared with Texas). With that, and with the 2V8 also earning weekly honors in March, the 2014 team has more weekly honors than in the last seventeen years combined.
The 1V8 also won the Sunflower Showdown to go up 17-6 against Kansas in a winning streak that goes back to 2006. </p>

<section class="s-news"><p>K-State decathlete Reinis Kregers is the Big 12 Outdoor Track Male Athlete of the Week. Kregers finished second in the Sam Adams decathlon, less than fifty points off the lead. He also achieved career best scores in four events (javelin, 1500 m, 400 m and 110 m hurdles) in the process.
LaCrosse javelin star and state champion Lucas Moeder will be throwing at K-State next year.</p>
