The Olympics

Erik Kynard won the silver medal in the men's high jump, clearing 2.33 meters (7'7 3/4") and finishing second to Russia's Ivan Ukhov, who cleared 2.38 meters (7'9 3/4"). At just 21 years old, Kynard now has two NCAA national titles and an Olympic silver medal. Even better, he still has a year of eligibility left at K-State.

Kynard took in the Olympic stage, including 80,000 fans in the stadium, and treated it like it was just another Tuesday.

K-State Football

Vegas has set the over/under for K-State wins this year at 7.5. I think I know which side most of you are betting.

K-State Volleyball

Three K-State volleyball players have been named to the preseason all-conference team. Kaitlynn Pelger was chosen unanimously, and was joined by Caitlyn Donahue and Lilla Porubek.

Big 12 Football

Bill's preseason preview tour of the Big 12 rolls on. Next up is West Virginia, and perhaps reason for tempering the Mountaineers' expectations for this season.
