William Thomas Ash (b. Feb. 23, 1994) is a walk-on with a lot of potential who fell through the recruiting cracks and somehow ended up at K-State. He played right guard and left tackle at Cathedral High School. And he's huge.
Ash was the top performer in the bench press at the Colts Combine with 28 reps of 185 pounds. He helped to lead the Fighting Irish to a 12-3 record in 2011. He also threw the shot put (45-7) and discus (129-0) in track.
In addition to helping to lead this high school team to consecutive state titles as a junior and senior, Ash lettered in wrestling and track and field.
