With the season less than a month a way I thought I would put out my bowl picks before the games start. I'll give my best guess about how the season will go for the team, what bowl I think they'll end up in and where they will end up in the standings as well as a second prediction based off of swing games. (Note: bowl assignments are based off of standings, I.E. best team goes to Fiesta, even if they could potentially be in the championship game and I will only give descriptions for bowl teams)

Fiesta Bowl: K-State

Final record: 11-1 (8-1)

Recap: After going through the schedule game by game I really think its possible for K-State to go undefeated outside of the OU game. Ultimately that's my primary prediction for this season as I see K-State winning every game but OU, as much as I want to I just can't see them winning in Norman this year. With the their record of 11-1 the cats capture their first Big 12 Title in 10 years.

Second Prediction: Fiesta/Cotton/Other 10-2 (7-2)

Swing game: West Virginia (loss)

Despite losing to West Virginia K-State still wins a share of the Big 12 title as it ties with three other teams.

Cotton Bowl: Texas

Final Record: 10-2 (7-2)

Well I wasn't sure if it would possible but Texas' elite defense was enough to overcome their suspect offense but they proved me wrong as Texas went an impressive 10-2 with a very impressive win against OU in Dallas, and losses early against West Virginia and late against K-State.

Second Prediction: Alamo/Buffalo Wild Wings/Holiday 9-3 (6-3)

Swing game: OU (loss)

With their three conference losses Texas falls out of Big 12 Title contention and into a 3 way tie for third place as OU takes sole possession of second place.

Alamo Bowl: Oklahoma

Final Record: 10-2 (7-2)

Going into November 24 the Sooners are still alive in the national and conference title race despite losing to Texas, but the Cowboys with almost a year under their belts and still living of the confidence of last years Bedlam beat down take the show back to Norman with similar results. After this loss the Sooners finish the year with 2 big rivalry losses and end up in third place behind K-State and Texas.

Second Prediction: Fiesta Bowl 11-1 (8-1)

Swing game: OSU (win)

After beating OSU and TCU to close the season, Oklahoma wins the Big 12 outright via their tie breaker over K-State.

Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl: TCU

Final Record: 9-3 (6-3)

TCU ends up not doing to shabby in their first year as their only losses are to the 3 teams above them in the standings, and key wins against West Virginia and Oklahoma State.

Second Prediction: Texas Bowl 8-4 (5-4)

Swing game: OSU (loss)

With this loss the horned frogs drop to 6 as OSU and West Virginia both jump the horned frogs

Holiday Bowl: West Virginia

Final Record: 9-3 (6-3)

West Virginia and TCU have almost identical inaugural seasons as the Mountaineers go 9-3 with losses against K-State, OU, and TCU and a huge upset of Texas on Thanksgiving night.

Second Prediction: Cotton/Alamo/Buffalo Wild Wings 10-2 (7-2)

Swing game: TCU (win)

In a season similar to that of K-State in 2011, West Virgina finishes tie for second despite loosing to the two teams they tied with.

Texas Bowl: Oklahoma State

Final Record: 8-4 (5-4)

With losses to K-State, TCU, Texas and West Virginia some see the cowboys as suffering a Big 12 championship hangover but its not all bad as the Cowboys manage to upset the Oklahoma Sooners.

Second Prediction: Holiday bowl 9-3 (6-3)\

Swing game: West Virginia (win)

The Cowboys move up one spot in the standings to share a 9-3 record with TCU but still trails in the standings due to the tie breaker loss.

Pinstipe Bowl: Baylor

Final Record: 6-6 (3-6)

Baylor has a relatively uneventful season as they beat all the non-bowl teams and lose to all the others

Second Prediction: Home for Holidays 5-7 (2-7)

Swing game: Texas Tech (loss)

In this scenario they do lose to one non-bowl team

Swing game: Baylor (win)

9. Iowa State

FR: 3-9 (1-8)
