With construction of K-18 west of Manhattan still in progress, fans traveling to K-State’s season-opening football game Saturday are advised by law enforcement officials to allow extra time for their trip. The ongoing road work on K-18 between Ogden and Manhattan will continue throughout the 2012 football season, reducing the roadway to a single lane in each direction from Wildcat Creek Road on the west to Seth Child Road on the east, officials said.
