Seth Alan Filbert (b. Oct. 27, 1993) is a walk-on running back from Macksville High School who lettered four years under head coach Jeff Kuckelman. He also lettered in basketball and track. He seems likely to redshirt in 2012.
Filbert helped to lead the team to a 10-1 record and a district championship as a senior, when he was named all-league and all-district while earning honorable-mention all-state honors.
He also passed for 2,466 yards and 31 touchdowns, while rushing for 415 yards and 12 touchdowns as a senior.
Filbert was selected to play in the Kansas Eight-Man All-Star Game and the Kansas vs. Nebraska All-Star Game.
He rushed 126 times for 627 yards and passed for 1,354 yards on 82-of-147 aim as a junior.
