Jonathan Coleman (b. June 17, 1992) is a preferred walk-on defensive back from Ralph H. Poteet High School in Mesquite, Texas, who basically grayshirted in 2010 and then redshirted in 2011.

He played running back in high school and ran a 24.74 in the 200 meters at the Coppell Relays.

Coleman prepped under head coach Charles Heese at Poteet High School, where he was an honorable-mention running back who once recorded a 300-yard game on 16 carries.

He also was an honorable-mention pick in basketball, and an honor roll student who was involved in FCA and the student council. Here's some highlights of him in action.
