Dylan Schellenberg is a walk-on safety from Butler County Community College. He originally hails from Wichita, but attended Maize High School as a prep player.

His statistics from last season were decent for JUCO. He had 59 total tackles (46 solo, 13 assisted), three tackles for loss, three forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, two pass breakups and three interceptions (one pick-six).

Schellenberg was a unanimous first-team All-AV-CTL selection in high school and was named Maize's Football MVP. He also was an Academic All-American.

At Butler, he was named to the All-Jayhawk Conference second team, was Defensive Player of the Week after the game against Navarro Junior College and their first Regional game, and was named a "top five" defensive player.
