Gordon leaving K-State for GA position Joel Jellison jjellison@themercury.com Kansas State football coach Joe Gordon is leaving the program to take a position at Division II Mississippi College. The sports information department at Mississippi College confirmed Gordon is set to take a position as a graduate assistant for the Choctaws for the upcoming season. Gordon returned to K-State in 2009 as the director of recruiting operations and was set to enter his fourth season in the position. Gordon played at defensive back for the Wildcats from 1993-96 and was an All-American as a junior in 1995 and finished his career as a two-time All-Big Eight selection.
