Granted, it's no "The Stand," but moments like these still represent how and why Tre Walker is the heart and soul of the Lynch Mob reborn.

Armogen Bruer "Tre" Walker Jr. (b. Feb. 22, 1992) has seen amazing improvement since stepping on the field.
Thrown into the fire as an undersized true freshman in 2011, he produced two starts, 47 tackles, one sack and one interception in 13 games. That led to high expectations in 2012, but what he gave us last year exceeded them.
Walker exited spring practice penciled in beside Arthur Brown and Emmanuel Lamur as a projected starter, but what he became was the emotional heart and soul of a reborn "Lynch Mob" defense.
Witness Exhibit A: The Stand.
In addition to those intangibles, Walker logged 52 tackles (30 solo, 22 assisted), three tackles for loss, 0.5 sack, three pass breakups and a forced fumble in 2012.
His stats likely would have been higher, but he often was subbed out for the nickel back, usually Allen Chapman.
This year, they will be higher, because he's slated to fill Lamur's role as Brown's counterpart on the field in a 4-2-5.
