I'm just tired of the immediate "the refs are screwing us" after a bad call or two.
I don’t think any of you realize how hard that job is. Ten players on the floor, all big, strong, fast and quick. The nature of the game is very physical, and the action moves very fast. You have a split second to decide what’s a foul and what’s not. On top of that, you have each conference telling you they want things called a certain way.
It’s nowhere near as easy as you think.

Yes, it's a hard job. I fully appreciate that.
Still going to call them out when they make bad calls. But I agree, it’s more that they screw both teams equally with awful calls both ways and never let the game develop any flow, as opposed to screwing one team specifically.
It never ceases to amaze me how different games are called in the Big East, how they often can go entire halves without teams reaching the bonus and how much more watchable it is.

I don't agree with it, but the NBA shot continuation rule has migrated to college ball.

Several possessions in a row there when I thought we played great defense until about 5-seconds left on the shot clock and aTm just happened to hit some ridiculous long 3 or fade-away spinning jumper.
Has there been a 50/50 ball that was not ruled in favor of aTm?

otherwise I’m not that big into it.
There is something different about Olympic hockey. I don't know though. Seems better.

Watched a movie about Brian Clough's days at Derby/Leeds
It’s a pretty intresting movie. And I actually looked them up after. Learned Derbyshire is a primarily ag region with a bunch of small towns and the club is limited by smaller resources than most of their rivals. It only made sense.

I actually got into watching soccer
when I was in College in Iowa. Had some friends from India and Bangladesh that were crazy for Liverpool FC so thats how I became a fan. After I went to Thailand the only American football game on was the Super Bowl (Colts vs Bears) but I could catch every Liverpool game. What can I say. It really grew on me. Lol

Hockey's fun if you've never been to an NHL game you owe yourself at least 1
I maintain that if it was cold enough to freeze ponds consistently for long periods of time I probably would have been even more in to Hockey as a kid.

I'm content. I wasn't saying the Cats were officially in the tournament yet, but now I think we can bet money they are.
A very winnable game on Saturday means they have a shot to go into the conference tourney with a bit of momentum. I’m glad to see the Cats step up and hold onto the lead, and the shooting was terrific.

Mostly, but even there they are in a tough division.
I would imagine A&M would have some years where they are the cream of the crop in that division tho. I think they better get used to getting reamed by UK on a yearly basis tho…

Lord knows I (and others) have been killing this kid lately,
but glad to see him willing to take some more shots than usual. He’s not playing very well right now, but I at least want him to try to be a factor and keep defenses honest instead of just being a slow moving turnstile.
