K-State Basketball

Maybe this team just needs to get away from home for a while. K-State travels to College Station for the final time tonight to take on Texas A&M at what should be a thoroughly unintimidating Reed Arena.

For the same story written with different words, check out the Kansas City Star!

Big 12 Basketball

KU cruised to a 70-58 win over Oklahoma State in Stillwater ... Baylor routed Texas Tech, 77-48, in a game that was probably watched by a total of 31 people, TV audience included.

TV Viewership

Nielsen released TV viewership numbers for college football and college basketball. To nobody's surprise, the SEC leads in football, and the large-population Big 10 leads in basketball. The Big 12 ranks fourth in both metrics.

New Big 12 Commissioner

Chuck Neinas' replacement as Big 12 commissioner could be ... Dick Ebersol? I'll wait until we hear that from somebody other than Kirk Bohls to decide how much credence I give it.

One for the road

Former KU basketball player Marcus Morris returned to Lawrence for last Saturday's Border War, and got a misdemeanor battery citation early the next morning. You know, for old time's sake.

SB Nation on YouTube

SB Nation's Spencer Hall and Jason Kirk will be teaming up on "Shutdown Fullback." I could describe it, or you could just watch the preview video below.
