An important part of K-State's formula for success is avoiding mistakes. It's even built into the 16 Goals, twice. Thus far, the Wildcats have done that very well, with only eight penalties and a plus-five turnover margin on the season.

Bill Snyder divulged at his weekly press conference that he eats one meal per day, and it's at Taco Bell. Combine this with a report in the comments last week that he was seen enjoying a margarita recently, and it's becoming clear that Snyder is quite the fan of Mexican food. The Star has a poll where you can vote on what you think Snyder orders at Taco Bell.

K-State's players have become accustomed to seeing the Governor's Cup in the Vanier Football Complex, and they want it to stay right where it is.

By the way, I don't know if anybody heard Bill Snyder's interview last Saturday on 810 radio in Kansas City during their morning football show, but if you didn't, it's worth a listen if you can find a podcast. They asked him what he does on a bye weekend. Snyder said they had practice Saturday morning, then he was going to go out and tailgate and party in the parking lot, even if he was the only one there. Don't say Bill Snyder isn't capable of making a funny every now and again.
