Hey y'all,

I live in Washington, D.C., and the local bar I go to to watch college football has a tendency to draw in fans of seemingly every team out there. A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of chatting with a Kansas State fan while he watched the KSU/KU game, and I found out Justin Tuggle is still around and that he's playing linebacker now. The significance of this is that JT and I went to junior high together and were decent friends until he switched schools. Knowing he initially went to college to play quarterback, I simply thought he had washed out of the sport until my conversation with the K State guy.

Anyway, the other day I was cleaning out a drawer and ran across a picture of Justin and I from seventh grade. Since he's still playing and by all accounts doing very well, I thought I'd share the photo, circa 2002 or so. (Sorry for the picture-in-picture format.) Good luck with the rest of the season, you guys - I'm rooting for a 'Bama/Kansas State national championship (I still haven't forgiven Oregon for losing to Auburn).
