They would be dumb to accept less...
But after both Colorado and Nebraska negotiated for that it wouldn’t surprise me if they settled with them…

It's not nearly that simple.
A&M will end up paying, but it won’t be $28 million. They have enough leverage that the Big 12 will come down a little. I hope we play harder with Texas A&M than we did with Nebraska and Colorado, though.

You’re late, so he’s going to get the shot off one way or the other. If you jump, he’s going to head fake and will get the shot off and then, even if he misses, you’re not in position to box out or go for the rebound.

He’s a great student, he works hard, and I’m sure he’s a great guy. And yes, I realize we won against Texas despite him playing 19 minutes.

OK, all you smartasses out there...
This is getting ridiculous. Either you guys start coaching, or shut up about ours. People need breathers. People need chances to refocus. People need to come out when they start to get into foul trouble.
I’m getting real tired with this “HCFM doesn’t do this, he does that wrong, etc. etc.” We’re not the most talented team in the NCAA. We’re going to relinquish leads, regardless of who we’re playing against, and regardless of who we have on the floor. Teams go on runs. That’s how the game works. We’re not a Top 5 team. That’s the way it is.
The guys, for the most part, play hard. HCFM makes a lot of smart decisions, and honestly, playing 10 or 11 is one of them. We have a very exhaustive style of playing, with largely mediocre players. It’s a game of volume, not quality.
Many of you have bitched constantly this entire game about turnovers, lineups, etc,, and we’re up 7 with 30 seconds left in the first half in an arena that is a) very difficult to play in, and b) we haven’t won at in 20 years. Apparently, someone is doing something right.

There is no reason for Victor to be on the floor in the first half. That’s coaching. Why is this team, that so perfectly crushed Baylor’s zone, utterly inept against anyone else’s? That’s coaching.
This team has given us more than enough to bitch about, so until they start to play well (pissing away 10+ point leads in consecutive games is NOT playing well), I figure we can continue to complain.

He’s good enough to participate in a Division 1 basketball program. He’s good enough to be on the floor – if not for energy alone – to spell other players.
