Could the (former) Big 12 team that started the dominos be one of our biggest allies? Colorado speaks out about keeping OU/UT out of their footprint.
Certainly this whole thing feels as humorous as something from straight out of Spinal Tap, as we've just lost our third drummer (A&M) to spontaneous combustion, but I thought I would start a central place to document/house all things optimistic towards what appears to be the current long-shot of keeping this thing together. I'm sure this will be a daily update follow the jump to see what others are saying about the downsides to conference realignment/case for keeping things smaller and regional.
However if OU/UT did leave, a former BYU official says big 12 move is completely off the table. So you're saying there's a chance (one in a million of course). Otherwise the plan is to stay indy.
I find it interesting a TCU official is saying he's starting to doubt the security in the Big East. Seems to me it might be an easy way to back out of something realizing there's an opportunity to get BCS status and stay close to home.
