I promised a "realignment links post" following the Slate, but for various reasons (read: I kept getting distracted while writing it and the end result sucked), such post won't be forthcoming. Instead, read this BC post. It's a fair look at the process without unnecessary cheap shots. And the point it makes about no school being an angel (or a hero, for that matter) is one I've wanted to make for a while. Of course, I was going to illustrate my point with the line "There are precious few at ease, with moral ambiguities, so we act as though they don't exist," which is much more stylish.
