John Sua is a JUCO transfer from Allan Hancock College who popped up from nowhere on K-State's newest roster.
He appears to be a big ol' lug of a defensive tackle, and we never can have too many of those, if you ask me.
Until I learn differently, I'm assuming he still has a redshirt year available. My current roster spreadsheet shows that we're already five deep at both defensive tackle positions, so until I hear more on him, I'm predicting a redshirt.
Sua was named a first-team SFCA All-Northern Conference selection at defensive tackle in 2010. He had 37 tackles that season and forced three fumbles. Add to those his 33 tackles and three sacks as a freshman. Pretty solid.
