ROSTER RUNDOWN: Nos. 90-99

As I feared when I began the DAYS TO KICKOFF series two months ago, K-State released a newly revised roster to the public late last week.

Not only did I guess wrong on the numbers of quite a few incoming players, but a surprisingly high number of current players changed their number, including both brothers Brown.

I'm currently in the process of revising the entries I already had written that still were unpublished in the system, so they will reflect changes on the new roster. But for most players, the countdown entries were published weeks ago.

Rather than edit entries no one's likely to see or publish new ones, I'm instead going to run down the roster in groups of 10 and highlight the changes in a separate set of posts.

Follow the jump for the first set of players — the defensive linemen in the 90s.

Star-divide

I'm sorry BC

I know you spent a lot of time and effort getting half the roster done, and now you have to spend more work. Yuck.

I really appreciate all you have done with this list. I have enjoyed it a great deal.

Eh, no biggie. I knew this would happen at some point. Serves me right for working so far ahead.

Maybe next year I’ll wait to do the new guys until after the updated roster is out.

my $.02 on this

continue the countdown with your original roster. Supplement with additions on the new roster in place of missing players and such along extra players at the end.

Then publish a secret decoder piece at the end letting us know the ‘real’ numbers.

All of ’em you are writing are good and will hopefully help me remember players during the season.
