41 DAYS TO KICKOFF: Logan Haug

#41 Logan Haug |
Position: Tight End Previous College: None Projection: Redshirt Status: Preferred Walk-On |
Logan Paul Haug (b. Nov. 18, 1992) is an incoming walk-on from B&B High School, where he averaged 24.4 yards per game as a senior tight end in eight-man football. Tight end is the position he's projected to play for us, as well.
He had 64 tackles, eight sacks, two pass breakups, two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery as a defensive end.
B&B won the 2010 state title, and Haug was named first-team all-state and the 2010 Eight-Man Player of the Year.
He was an honorable mention tight end across all high school classifications, too. And he runs a 4.7 40-yard dash.
I could go on, detailing his exploits in shot put (ninth at state), academics (4.0 GPA, 30 ACT, Kansas Honor Scholar) and community service (Future Business Leaders of America, Little League coach), or I could just link this video.
All in all, pretty swell for a walk-on.

Good for him
I hope he can use that size and speed and a RS year to become the TE threat KSU never seems to know how to use.
"If you don't want to work, become a reporter. That awful power, the public opinion of the nation, was created by a horde of self-complacent simpletons who failed at ditch digging and shoemaking and fetched up journalism on their way to the poorhouse." - Mark Twain
Edited to include a link to his bio.
When I originally wrote this, he hadn’t been added to the roster yet. When I changed it to reflect that, I forgot to add the link as well.
