Marcus Woodside-Heit (b. Nov. 3, 1990) might not be a familiar name to most, but for a guy 99 percent of the fan base hasn't heard of, he could end up having a huge impact on the 2011 season.

That's because he's the front-runner to fill the biggest shoes available on the entire team — replacing Corey Adams as the starting long snapper.

Adams never missed a snap in four seasons. Whenever the NFL lockout eventually is lifted, he almost certainly will be one of the first free-agency acquisitions for a team seeking to shore up that position for about 15-20 years.

That's a pretty damn tough act to follow. Kudos to Heit for even attempting the challenge.
