Manase Foketi (b. Sept. 18, 1990) is nicknamed "Mt. Foketi," though whether that is due to where he received his associate's degree (Mt. San Antonio College, or Mt. SAC) or his immense size is uncertain. Probably both.

Although listed at 300 pounds, Mt. Foketi almost certainly is pushing 320 after a full year in our weight program.

That makes him an ideal blind-side protector, which he showed last season by seizing the starter's role at left tackle in fall camp and never relinquishing it.

Expect more of the same this year, although it will be nice if Cornelius Lucas can see a little more reserve time behind Foketi to prepare him better for taking over Foketi's spot in 2012.
