The Bat Cats couldn't get past Texas A&M in the Big 12 tournament, but didn't need an automatic bid to be selected for an NCAA Regional. Brad Hill and the Wildcats will travel to Fullerton, Calif., as the three seed. K-State will face Stanford and, if it can get past the Cardinal, would likely take on host Cal State-Fullerton.

Jim Tressel has resigned at Ohio State. Hardly surprising news, but the timing is interesting. Meanwhile, there's a new investigation by OSU and the NCAA into Terrelle Pryor and possible cars and extra benefits.

K-State dedicated an on-campus World War II monument yesterday.
