How bad is it that I forgot the game started this afternoon? I thought it was on around 6 PM?

I wouldn't worry. Here's my contribution for the day...
…I’m off to the golf course. Hold down the farm, Pan.

Klein is having some sucess
in the throwing game: 8 of 10 last I heard.
I don’t know if that’s comforting (he’ll be a dual threat this year) or terrifying (our defense is allowing Klein to throw and complete 80% of his passes)…
Interesting to hear Stan's comments about ...
how effective Klein has been throwing it into the very stiff wind. Seeming to have little affect on his ball, even on the deep ball for the first TD.
There are few things to take away from scrimmages, but details like that are what I look for.

I caught the same comments.
One of the few snippets as I was in and out of my garage doing different things. Had it on in the garage. But yes that one comment sure seemed immensely insightful, considering Stanley himself played some QB in his day along with Safety. So you know it’s a pretty legitimate comment coming from him.
"Nor yet in Dell?"
Collin Klein is beasting it up today:

Left at halftime: My thoughts
I thought Samuel Lamur played pretty well and Tuggle had a nice play here or there, Robert Rose broke off a nice long run and Bryce Brown has looked good with the relatively touches he’s got.

Was this the deadest OGT ever?

I'm going to post a depth chart soon. I'll do it as a separate FanPost.
I wanted to log in and comment during the game, but couldn’t get any phone Internet access at the stadium at all. Stupid Verizon.
I was at the game through 3 quarters and I thought Tuggle looked very uncomfortable
Neither Brown wowed me overmuch, but they weren’t asked to. My favorite part is that Smith and Thompson both played and played a lot, and both looked good.

If Arthur didn't wow you, you have impossibly high standards.
Best LB we’ve had since Brandon Archer, hands down.
He doesn’t tackle people. He ENVELOPS them.
I don't know how to judge defensive players
He ran around and tackled people, but it wasn’t in anger, so I don’t know how much to read into it. I did really like his pursuit during a long run by one of the tiny White team running backs. He does look fast.

Oh, it was in anger.
I played some football in my day, and when you’re scrimmaging for your starting spot, it’s in anger. :)

I was at the game as well.
I was most impressed with Arthur Brown’s sideline to sideline speed. It seemed like he was in on every tackle on plays to the outside.
That play where he ran down Rose on what looked to be a sure TD was just SICK.
Who was the last guy we had who could do that? Buhl?
ha ha ha
I should have read lower before my comment above.

I can't remember a linebacker since who could do that...
