K-State Slate: 2.21.11
Happy Presidents' Day! It's good to be back.
K-State took care of Oklahoma on Saturday to move to 6-6 in conference play. Coming on the heels of the win over KU on Monday, it was an important game to see the team take care of business. Next comes an important showdown in Lincoln on Wednesday.
The women's team also had a big day Saturday, dropping Nebraska for the program's 800th win. The Cats are also 8-4 in conference play.
Jacob Pullen followed up his 38-point outing against KU on Monday with 27 points against Oklahoma. See Panjandrum's post from last week for reference to where that leaves him in the chase to catch Mike Evans.
In other Big 12 news from the weekend, Nebraska upset Texas in Lincoln, handing the Longhorns their first conference loss of the season. The win may get NU a little closer to the discussion, but if the sports media's mock selection last week is any indication, they still have quite a bit of work to do.

Good for the girls.
From the description of the game, it sounded like it would have been a fun one to watch.
Thanks again Blair for waking the Cats up with your stupid technical. I appreciate it!
Bring on the Nubs. The Cats only have one road win in conference play, and that was quite a squeaker against the worst team in the conference. However, I’m really glad the Cats have some momentum and confidence now after spanking both KU and OU. Now let’s hope it carries over into the NU game.
