Final Big 12 Bowl Projections
In my final Bowl Projections for the season I will tell you why this historical season for the Big 12 may get even better with 2 teams in the BCS. As usual I'll start out with the best and go to the pinstripe bowl.
BCS National Championship Game- Oklahoma State- I think the beating they gave the Sooners combined with the fact that there is a lot of anti-rematch sentiment going around will be enough to move the Cowboys into the second spot in the BCS rankings.
For the rest of my Big 12 bowl projections keep reading after the jump.
Fiesta Bowl-K-State- I know I will probably take some flack for this pick but I'm sticking with it and here is why: as I explained in the post game thread (just search for Bama Michigan), I think the sugar will be filled and the Fiesta bowl will try to get a Big 12 team, there is certainly precedence for this happening, and I think it happens again in 2011 and I think K-State is the team they take.
Cotton Bowl-Baylor- I think that Baylor will get the nod just because they beat OU and the fact that OU lost 2 of their last 3 games in embarrassing fashion and if the Cotton Bowl exec's have even half a brain they know that Baylor is much more entertaining to watch then an OU team that consistently beats themselves over the head with a pan and eats glue, it seems like we have a replacement for our favorite "special" Big 12 member.
Alamo Bowl-Oklahoma- The Sooners will finally get to see what happens when you lose 3 games, two of those being to teams in front of you, and will get put in the San Antonio where the only their asinine band will travel to.
Insight Bowl-Texas- Missouri is No. 4 in the Big 12 standings but since they are leaving there is a good chance that they will get put on the short end of the Big 12 bowl bids.
Holiday Bowl-Iowa State- This is a lot like the one above, the Big 12 try and pressure the bowls into taking members that will be here next year before ones that are leaving.
Texas Bowl-Missouri- The tiger's will get the second worst bowl selection of the Big 12 just because they own the tie breaker over A&M.
Pinstripe Bowl-A&M- This is the best and most pure form of revenge I can think of, not only are they going to a bowl game without their head coach they will enter the meat grinder with a new one next year.

I do think the Fiesta would choose us if OSU gets ranked #2 - that's the part i don't see happening
Also, is there a rule that says the bowls have to choose teams with winning records over 6-6 teams? I’m not sure, but if so then Mizzou might get into the Holiday ahead of ISU.
There isn't.
6-6 ISU jumped 8-4 Mizzou two years ago to get into the Insight

ummm
probably highly unlikely but I would love to see your scenario play out that way! Screw Mizzou + A&M
"Nor yet in Dell?"
Haha,,,
Remember two weeks ago when EMAW had all sorts of nasty things to say about Iowa State in the okie state game thread because we had screwed up KSU’s shot at the Cotton Bowl?.
Good times…

Bobby Hill: What's a meat examination team?
Hank Hill: It's like a debate team, only instead of doing something useless you get to grade the cut and quality of meat!
OU is actually the #4 team in the league
not Mizzou.
But I like where you have placed everyone.
First to identify a TEWWT (so what if it was unintentional)
Whoops, I was writing this during the tail end of the bedlam game and Mizzo was still in front of OU on the ESPN standings
that's weird
because either outcome of Bedlam should not have had Mizzou in front of OU. Mizzou has 4 conference losses.
Oh well

I agree with your first four completely
but im not so positive about 5-8. I could see UT over MU, but I still don’t see ISU going higher than Texas Bowl
Insight would definitely choose Texas, but i think Cotton would take OU over Baylor, and I'm not so sure about the order of those bottom 3 either.
ISU or Mizzou would probably go to the Pinstripe.
I think aTm is going to the Pinstripe.
Would you like some Freys with that?
