Underclassmen
So has anyone else stopped and taken the time to break down the roster. I did the other night and was pleasantly surprised with what I saw. This is a sophomore and frosh loaded team especially line on both sides of the ball and our receivers and defensive back field. Also, if Daniel Sams comes anywhere close to panning out the way we all know Snyder can take athletic guys and make QB's out of them, the combination of him and DeMarcus Robinson in the backfield would be eerily similar to Ell and Darren back in the day. The defense is getting more athletic which will definitely help. Not to take anything away from the current defensive players, because in the old schemes we used to run I could easily see Arthur Brown, Nigel Malone, Tre Walker, David Garrett, and Meshak Williams being down right beastly but I think the play calling has hand cuffed them a bit. For example if you look as the aggressive nature they were allowed to play with in the game against Baylor and all games leading up to it they were doing good things. So we will have to see where things go. What do all you other "cat crazies" around here think.

I think K-State will at the very least be a contender next year for the Big 12
most of our starters this year are juniors and sophomores, and even a few freshmen, and our schedule sets up pretty nicely, with home games against Texas, Texas Tech, Oklahoma State, KU and probably one of the new schools, I have heard some rumors of K-State opening up against North Texas add in a FCS or lower FBS team plus a return game against Miami, and we are going to probably going to be looking at 9-10 wins, and a possible Big 12 Championship
Definitely Agree about next year
and with the talent and athleticism that Snyder is bringing in that should continue as long as the coach that replaces him, I hate to say this but we all know it’s coming…again (sigh), is on staff under at least a year preferably more. The only complaint I have about any of this is the defensive drop off. I miss those days and watching the defense flatten opposing offenses on Saturday’s.
Bill Snyder, the Lynch Mob, and the turn around at "Futility U"...the most inspirational story in college football, and the reason I want to coach.
I believe he's in the "has some sort of issues to work out with self" department
If you’re talking about this year. If you’re talking about if he redshirted last year, I’m guessing probably, but not sure.
"Nor yet in Dell?"
I havent heard about the "Issues"
But looking him up on the roster on the official sports site he is listed as a freshman and experience is listed as red shirt.

I don't trust Robinson
Until I see him in action for more than a game, I’m going to ignore him. I bought into the Bryce Brown hype. Oops.
Anyway, I think the offense will be really fun as long as Snyder’s around, but that D is appalling. Cosh MUST go, but I just can’t see it happening.

Can't remember where I heard it, likely radio...
but it was pre-season, or within the first 2 weeks of the season.

Next Year
I agree we will have lot of talent back for next year. Two areas of major concern for next year are:1.We must develop lineman that can get to the QB and 2. we must have an adequate backup for Klein—as often as he carries the ball there is a high risk he could be seriously injured.
How about a competent defensive coordinator?

Tuggle with another year in the system
I think would have to be somewhat competent if Daniel Sams isn’t ready to go at a moments notice.
