Thanksgiving weekend in college football started with a bang as Texas surprised Texas A&M in the final Lone Star Showdown. Today, KU will look to do the same against Missouri in the conclusion of a rivalry game, but the Jayhawks will probably fail.

In an intriguing matchup, Oklahoma will be host to Iowa State today. Early word is that Sooner wide receiver Jaz Reynolds is not on the field and may be out with an injury.

Oh, and I have a bone to pick with whomever at SB Nation is calling the Nebraska-Iowa game "Farmageddon." Don't sully the good name of Farmageddon on a manufactured rivalry with a corporate trophy. Farmageddon is real and authentic and it's K-State vs. Iowa State. Just ask Lee F****** Greenwood.
