RPI WATCH: 11/25/11

Not yet ready for primetime players...

Oops, just realized Sunday night that I never went back and added a writeup to this post. Thanksgiving weekend got me all scrambled up, I guess.

Not too much to say in this one that I won't say better in Monday's entry, but I was impressed by Virginia Tech's effort against Syracuse (and subsequently worried about our upcoming game at Cassell Coliseum) and pleasantly surprised by Oklahoma's play in the 76 Classic.

And who didn't at least chuckle when Tyler Thornton (who?) made that ridiculous fallaway 3-pointer?

But the early holiday weekend was marred by a pair of putrid efforts from Oklahoma State (which is full of youth and doesn't look ready for prime time yet) and Texas Tech (which pretty much just sucks). Yuck, guys.
