K-State Football

After this morning, K-State will not practice again until next Sunday. Let's all hope those four days do wonders for Collin Klein's health.

We are the Texas State Champions. Personally, I prefer "We Own Texas," but that probably would have been a little over the top for an athletic department shirt.

K-State Basketball

The Wildcats led by only seven points at halftime, but romped to a 92-50 win over UMES. Jamar Samuels had 12points in his return, and Thomas Gipson also scored 13 points and grabbed nine rebounds. Like the football team, Frank Martin's squad will take a break until Sunday.

Big 12 Basketball

Missouri topped its performance against Notre Dame with a 92-53 win over a ranked Cal team to win the CBE Classic in Kansas City. KU got a relatively easy win over UCLA to advance to the finals of the Maui Invitational, where it will face Duke.

College Football

Don't miss this week's Alphabetical, in which Bill Snyder demonstrates Old Man Strength. The Wildcats also get a mention in the Numerical for improbably beating Texas despite one of the worst offensive performances I've ever seen.
