Brilliant marketing. It's not exactly a Heisman campaign, but I think it's appropriate in its own right. Also note the cleverly located Honey Badger. A little Honey Badger goes a long way.

#ckmvp just became my favorite web-site. EVER.
And that highlight video is sweeeet. It’d be nice if they would just embed it into the original site, though.
Other than that, solid work K-State marketing people. Solid work.

I like how aggressive K-State is being with promoting the K-State brand and players
The splattered blood all over that thing are pretty kick-ass too

This is terrific
I think Schluz and Currie have had a great impact on how well KSU’s media is presented. I don’t know if it is them directly or not, but wow.

What? I have no idea what that is.

Dear KSU Athletic Department:
#ckmvp is a brilliant campaign.
However if you do not fix the streaming issues with kstatehd.tv you are going to lose subscribers. I have been patient, sent word through channels, but it is getting old. You have a server side issue. Why are you attempting to only send data at compression rates at 1080 then you will fail. The stream is choppy and takes forever to load. This 1:43 second highlight of Klein should easily play for all viewers but, alas, it does not. Please resolve this issue immediately. I pay for the service and it just is not acceptable long-term.
Thank you for your attention in this matter.

I use it game im not at the game and has worked fine for me, there wasn't even much of a lag with the vido
The issue for me is that I have sufficient bandwidth by my provider.
At least, based on what the KSU website is required.
That, plus my computer has sufficient capability. Still, I can’t watch for more than 30 seconds before it catches, buffers, and begins again.
Something I just don’t want to put up with, especially if I have to pay for it.
If I'd known I was going to live this long, I'd have taken better care of myself.
Ding, Ding, Ding
And there is your server side issue.

ksu.hd varies wildly for me
At times the video comes through great. Other times, it’s pausing to buffer like crazy, and can’t even finish a second of video at a time.
Of course, once i get the video playing it still sometimes studders on my machine, which is fairly high end. It’s not nearly as optimized as Youtube or ESPN3.
I think i’ll be cancelling the service soon as well. I’ll probably give it through the end of FB season, and see what i think then.
This is awesome.
Pimping it out in all the ways I can.

whoever is responsible for this needs a raise. 10% or more.
screw this, I should be sleeping anyway.
I don't get it.
How is it that the Marketing department can come up with something as cool and great as this, but then release things like ecocat and the power towel?
I just don’t get it.
Surgeon General's Warning: K-State-Mizzou basketball may increase the risk of high blood pressure. Please consult your doctor prior to watching any of these games.
Quite simple really
The athletics department have their own graphics department. They had nothing to do with EcoCat and the whole power towel debacle was Prince’s idea. When a head coach tells you to do something, you do.
You can always tell when a marketing person doesn’t like something though. They give the “client” exactly what they ask for.
Exactly.
That way they can plead they just produced what they were told to and had nothing to do with the design. The school had the capability to make the power towel videos at least cool visually and well produced even though the idea was still dumb. They didn’t do that, which tells me they just threw together what ever came out of Prince’s mouth and washed their hands of it.

Not the same department.
Apples and Oranges.

Holy crap!
I had never seen this. It is bad. Almost as bad as ecocat.

Damn you
For reminding the rest of us. I needed to have extensive treatment done to force that from my brain the first time.
