Cardiac Cats win another game by a touchdown or less. Officials were better this game since they didn't miss a backwards pass. Mizzou is going to be dangerous as Franklin gains experience and if they cut back on the derps.
K-State on offense was very conservative on the play calling and did not attack the weakest area of the MU defense enough for me but then again I like the way Leach calls offense. I can't think of one outstanding play that was not supported by other solid plays. Grind and grit is the offense this year.
Defense had very excellent 1st and a good 3rd quarter. End of the 2nd quarter saw a long MU drive in less than 2 minutes, while the 4th quarter saw a prevent defense that Mizzou exploited very nicely with drives of over 70 yards in 3:11 and 1:37. On the positive side there was an interception to start the game and some solid stops on Mizzou when needed.
next up for K-State:
