Hardly much recruiting that year and a team full of Ron Prince left overs, pretty good case for it not to count.
I mean, that was essentially the same team that got blown out when RP was leading them
and we didn’t even have Freeman (although, he WAS a TO machine against the Blueducks, so that could have actually helped our cause)

But he was the starter during that lopsided beatdown in Lawrence in 2008 that led to the firing of RP so I’m not so sure it would have helped that much…but under HCBS he would have been 5 times the QB most likely so you could be right
