The Big 12 Conference announced it has reached an agreement with the University of Nebraska and the University of Colorado regarding their withdrawal from the conference effective June 30, 2011, subject to final approval from the member institutions’ respective governing boards. K-State President Kirk Schulz, who serves as a member of the conference board of directors, and Athletic Director John Currie are pleased with the resolution and look forward to the future of the Big 12 Conference beginning in 2011-12.
