It's been three years since K-State played a conference game before its non-conference schedule was complete. That streak ends this week as the Wildcats face Iowa State this weekend in their third game. It's probably a good thing that we had a team like UCLA on the schedule in Week 1 to help get the preparation and focus rolling early. No time for the traditional slow start we've become accustomed to from Bill Snyder teams.
