Keep an eye on tonight's NBA Draft. Denis Clemente has a chance at being a late second-round pick.

I’d guess Bill Self would be happy to give the guy a reference : )

He mentioned more than a few times how difficult he was to defend.

In case you missed it...I used to go by Denverjhawk : )

Remember this is his agent talking...
Not everyone is convinced. Jonathan Givony of DraftExpress.com didn’t rank Clemente among the top 20 point guards in the draft, writing that Clemente “struggles with tunnel vision and suspect decision-making in the half-court, showing a very quick trigger at times.” Givony also noted that Clemente struggles to finish around the rim, “often reverting to difficult flip-shots and floaters rather than drawing contact and getting to the free-throw line.”

This probably sums it up the best. As much as I want Denis to succeed, I don’t see him in the NBA.

Fair enough

But all of those shortcomings are teachable. With a late 2nd-round pick, you can draft for potential.

I see him as a solid backup point guard.

Definitely someone who can change the pace of the game quickly…

Good for Denis

I will certainly be interested in if he gets drafted.

And yet, still undrafted.

But hey, it could be worse. Denis will have a great chance on free agency, unlike a certain overweight, short point guard who spend offseason training getting fat in Vegas and costing himself a draft spot. LOL

Denis will find a place that is good for him.

And if he can prove himself, he might find himself in the NBA some day.

Awww... poor "not-in-the-butt" Sherron wasn't drafted

Couldn’t happen to a nicer schmuck.
