SB Nation Meet-Up: Kansas City
With apologies for bumping Panjandrum's excellent column on why the Big East may be the way to go for a bunch of school in the Great Plains, I've been meaning to post information on this party for the better part of a week. SB Nation is hosting meet-ups across the nation for those who read and write the various SB Nation blogs. For those BOTC fans in the Kansas City area, see below for the information, and I hope you can make it on short notice. I will be there for sure, and there's a chance that EMAW may make it was well. Pan will be home playing daddy, and BracketCat unfortunately lives in a far-flung region and has not been seen or heard from in weeks. Apparently, he, like, actually works or something.
What: SB Nation Meet-Up
Where: 75th Street Brewery, 520 W. 75th Street, Kansas City, MO
When: Monday, June 14, 2010, 5-7 p.m.
RSVP: Here

So there's a new SB nation...
…Kansas City Region blog….but they won’t be covering KSU. Only KU and Mizzou. Typical. I asked them about Bring on the Cats, but all he responded is that they’ll be covering the “big” KSU stories. Which, I presume, will be the stories when they play KU or Mizzou.
The life of a kstate fan...
Plus, it will work out when we are in the MWC.

Don't worry about that...
…these regional sites are a new addition (obviously) and we’re still working out some of the kinks with them. Expect K-State to be included on SBNKC in the near future.
We'll carry the banner high!
Bring On The Cats
My two cents...
We should’ve been in from the get go just my thinking. Anyway can non bloggers come, I’m 21 and if the meeting is at a brewery I’m down.
And on the 3rd year he rose again...
Yes!
This is for everyone, both bloggers and readers. Hit that link and RSVP.
Again, though, don’t worry about the initial mistake in leaving us out. Like I said, it’s a new deal and there will always be things to be ironed out.
We'll carry the banner high!

When are people going to realize...
That KC is equally divided between KU, MU and K-State fans. Want proof just look at all the license plates around the Johnson County area.
I would more likely believe
proportionately than equally… However, that may be considered just debating semantics.
