Minnesota Blanks K-State 3-0
A three-run first inning is all Minnesota needed and a trio of Gopher pitchers held No. 20 Kansas State in check en route to a 3-0 victory Wednesday afternoon at Tointon Family Stadium.
K-State, which lost its final non-conference game of the regular season, dropped to 31-13 on the year.
It was the Cats' first loss to a Big Ten team since a 4-2 setback to Northwestern to open the 2005 season.

Well, that f***ing sucked
Who knew Minnesota even had a baseball program? When do they start practicing, late April?
Ever since the Mizzou series, this team has kinda sucked. Let’s hope they get it together by this weekend — there’s nothing wrong with the Bat Cats that a sweep of Texas can’t fix.
I was at the game and it went so fast I don't even know if the Cats tried to hit
Weak. Thank God I didn’t have to pay to get in.
Lets remember
I don’t think that they were supposed to be at this record by this time, it’s just a young team that did a lot real fast they’re going have a hangover at some point. But the horns are for the sawing this weekend.
And on the 3rd year he rose again...
