Kansas State women's basketball enters the 2010 Phillips 66 Big 12 Championships on Thursday as the No. 9 seed and will face the eighth-seeded Texas Tech Lady Raiders at 11 a.m., at Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City.

This is the first time K-State enters the Big 12 Championship as the ninth seed.

K-State and Texas Tech will meet for the second time this season and the 19th time in the history of the series.

The first meeting this season resulted in a 75-67 overtime win for the Lady Raiders in Bramlage Coliseum.

The overall series record between the schools is tied 9-9, with Texas Tech holding a 2-1 edge in games played in the Big 12 Championships.
