Arthur Brown is ours now

http://www.themercury.com/K-StateSports/article.aspx?articleId=5d8b74ca680346fca09ed2b621e52830

I'm sure some people are thinking so what, he didn't do anything at Miami blah blah blah. But anytime you infuse raw talent with Snyder magic you get results and that's something we need at this moment. I know the focus is on our Sunflower Showdown right now and I hope with everything in my body we kill KU on their ode to Collins night, but this can just be a little added fuel to the burning Kansas State fire!

Very Nice

Let’s hope Arthur adapts just as well as a certain Miami transfer on the basketball team.

So he’ll be eligible for the 2011 season?

WTF?

Anyway, I’m glad KSU is getting that kind of talent, but I seem to remember another highly touted LB who came to KSU… and did nothing. Marvin or Melvin or something like that. If he lives up to the hype he will be a fantastic player for KSU. If not, I can’t really call it a wasted scholarship anyway.

I hope he’s great! (Along with Harper too.)

I must admit I didn't get the Arthur Brown connection right away...

A clip from that song was used in a song by the Prodigy.

I suspect we may see his brother at some point also.

We will just have to wait and see how his stint with Tennessee plays out in the future.

If we get Bryce

we’ll be STACKED at the running back position for a few years.

Now, where can we find a blue-chip quarterback…..

Maybe some QB from Kansas currently at 0U...

will get disenchanted and return to K-State.

Tick-tock-tick-tock

Arthur only has 2 years left, Bryce has 3 and BC QB has 4, but would have to wait a year to transfer. I don’t particularly want him anyway. I don’t think he’s much of a runner. I’m optimistic Harper will do the job.

Well....

The chances of Harper being our QB next year are not looking that good. Most likely will line up as a WR.

by WillieWannabe on Mar 3, 2010 4:21 PM CST up reply actions

That would depend

on what side of the Kansas state universities line you stand. :-D

Wichita kids get homesick

First Harper comes back, now Arthur Brown, your move Browns dad on getting back Bryce.

And on the 3rd year he rose again...
