Around SBN: The Pros and Cons of an 18-game NFL Schedule

RPI WATCH: 3/11/2010

Stop the presses! Arkansas-Pine Bluff got to .500!

That's about the only happy news today.

Washington State hit a new low by losing to Oregon (a team with a lame-duck coach — pardon the pun) again, while Missouri probably cost itself a Sweet Sixteen appearance by losing to Nebraska and falling to an 8 or a 9 seed — which means a date with a No. 1 seed in the second round.

Oh, our Golden Lions

Since Grambling upset Jackson State, they’re the top remaining seed in the SWAC!

This space for rent.

Indeed.

I know more about SWAC bball this year than any non-major conference before in my life. :-D

It’s fun – especially if they keep winning!

Go Lions!

I still can’t wait for them to get into the NCAAs and knock off KU. That would make my spring.

The time period is MUCH larger

for me. Certainly would give me SOMETHING to toss back should we not get another chance (and succeed) to beat them this year. :-D

Would have to be a 16 over 1 too – GRAVY! ;-)
