Did anyone else listen to Dan Beebe on 810 last week?
I think it was last week anyway. It definitely sounded to me like we have a bunch of idiots running the Big 12. When asked if there was a contingency plan for if a team bolts, he pretty much made it sound like nobody in the Big 12 offices had even talked about it. Maybe he’s just playing his cards, but it appears to me that Beebe doesn’t think a team will leave. I don’t think Beebe is a very good businessman. This is a business, and he isn’t running it as efficiently as it could be run at all.
I just think he's a terrible communicator
From listening to Tim Allen today on 810, it’s pretty clear they’re aware of what expansion would mean for the Big 12 and are least considering their options.
I think everyone is playing everything close to the vest (except everyone in Missouri that is)
Dan Beebe’s job is to hold the conference together, and it wouldn’t do any good to start speculating about teams leaving.
