Kitchen: What would it take for K-State to get a No. 1 seed?
Talk like this is probably a perfect lead-in to a home loss against Nebraska, but Kitchen makes a valid point that K-State should get a No. 1 seed if it wins out.
Oh yeah, there's that little matter of a trip to Lawrence and a visit from Missouri included in that scenario, too.

I haven't read your link...
but I’d probably agree with that statement. And at the very least, you guys are one of 7 teams in contention, with the others being: KU, UK, Cuse, Nova, Purdue, & Duke
Just being in the discussion is pretty cool...
…and the basic point of the link is that, if we won out, we’d be 28-4 (13-3) and Big 12 tournament champions, probably with two wins over KU in that stretch. That sounds like the resume of a No. 1 seed, depending on what the other resumes looked like.
While I’d never turn down a No. 1 seed, I’d actually almost prefer a No. 2 if it meant we went Oklahoma City/Houston.
We'll carry the banner high!

Beat KU twice and I'd think you'd have to be a #1
much easier said than done. Lose in Lawrence and win the Big 12 tourney and I still think K-State forces their way into the discussion.
Glad I came, just wish I hadn't stayed so long.
