While much of the media is playing see-no-evil-hear-no-evil after the NCAA issued their mystifying eligibility ruling, Whitley absolutely destroys Newton in this piece. And, I must say, I absolutely agree with everything he says here. We really have three choices about how we view Cam Newton: (1) He is the most naive rube ever to put on a football uniform in the SEC; (2) He is the stupidest person ever to put on a football uniform in the SEC; or (3) He is a liar, who knew damn well what was going on. I am so so SO glad this guy didn't end up here like we were hoping he would.
