I was in the process of creating a game thread when I saw this.

Jamar got poked in the eye and will sit this one out.

Devon’s still too new, apparently.

Pullen, Kelly, Judge and McGruder are virtual locks.

Most will say Irving for the fifth spot, but don’t be surprised it’s one of the freshmen: Spradling, Southwell or Williams.

A No. 3 ranking does wonders for getting the bandwagon fans in Manhattan off their asses, apparently.

Really like Asprilla so far. Goes after boards, gets position, looks smooth (despite the easy miss). Got lost on defense once though.

Judge doesn’t look good thus far. Out of position twice on defense, not much doing on offense. Give him time.

Jake is Jake. I love that kid.

Spradling plays good defense. Williams buried a three in his first collegiate shot.

We’ve seen every scholarship newcomer already, but no sign of a returning sophomore guard?

Uh oh… I smell a transfer in the making.

Sloppy with the ball and on defense, too. Bad combo.

That’s some serious respect.

I’m telling you, guys, this guy is Shalee Lehning with a penis. He was born to play point guard.

We haven’t had guys like this since Lon Kruger and Will Scott and those great guards in the 70s and 80s.

Thunderous two-hand dunk off a third steal by Irving.

His halftime interview with Stan was not the short, angry Frank I’ve come to expect at halftime.

Freddy shot about 40 percent at the line as a freshman. This will be ugly.

Really was hoping Frank would have coached that shit out of him by now.

Freddy loses his shoe, gets it back on, and helps get a steal.

Then Spradling sets up a great look for a Wally Judge layup. Nicely done.

Dom Sutton would not get many minutes on this team. We’ve upgraded our athleticism and offense at every position.

But what I saw was impressive.

Wally Judge is going to be great, Pullen can take over a game whenever, and I love Spradling and Southwell.

I’m not going to take too much from an exhibition game, but I like the fact that this team is playing a tough non-con because it will keep them on their toes all season. They have an amazing amount of depth and guys with star potential (Pullen, Judge, Kelly, Samuels), and they have role players galore. I don’t know how Asprilla will fit in quite yet, but he’s gonna be pretty good.

I really loved Spradling. Can’t emphasize that enough.

Probably has something to do with the fact thats he’s shalee with a penis but I regress. I like the sheer number of guards on this team and maybe it was the fact that we were playing newman but we looked taller and longer than last year(probably has something to do with Asprilla being able to jump, which colon did not have that ability). I think colon slowed us down in the spare minutes he played and with the skill sit of Asprilla. I think we won’t lose as much speed as we think with Clemente gone. Passing looks great, but there was some very sloppy play at times. However this was just a game to figure out how all the pieces will work together.

Remember what Kansas said about being deep last year? This team matches that depth I think.

Wait, I think it was started by someone higher up the BOTC food chain than I am. Damn! Seriously, though, how could anyone deface the image of this beauty with such a mental image?!?
